Where it started
M.K. Pokkisham was founded in 1998 out of Bengaluru, built on a simple premise: a coin or a stamp is worth more once someone can tell you exactly what it is. Early years were spent building relationships with collectors, estate sellers and other dealers across India and abroad — relationships that still supply much of what reaches our catalogue today.
Nearly three decades on, we've catalogued upward of 2,500 individual pieces, sourced from more than 45 countries, and served over 12,000 collectors — from first-time buyers to serious numismatists building reference collections.

Our authentication process
Intake & inspection
Every coin, note or stamp is examined for metal, weight, printing plate, perforation and other physical markers, and checked against known references.
Grading & valuation
We assess condition and rarity honestly, noting wear, repairs or restoration rather than glossing over them.
Documentation
Provenance and any known history are recorded alongside the listing, so buyers know exactly what they're getting.
Catalogue & care
Pieces are stored and shipped in archival-safe materials to protect their condition until they reach you.
